lordofthenine:

/whips his sword away, flames crawling along the blackened blade/

Then may you endure another four hundred years, she-elf!

/Narrows her eyes/

I bide my time until the day when I shall no longer need to.

dovahkiinelysia:

I assure you, I am what I claim to be. But a question for you,” Elysia crossed her arms, “You hold yourself quite regally. You must be a Fahliil, an elf, correct?”

I have never heard such a term applied to my people, but I am of the Elves.  Among those of Middle Earth, we are known as the Eldar.  Firstborn, fairest of all races.

shara—van:

“I don’t know his name… But he had dark hair. That’s really all I can say.”

I am afraid that I cannot infer from such a limited description whom of my kindred of which you speak.  I know at the least that he is not Celeborn, my Lord I have sought after since my arrival in this place.

lordofthenine:

I am no longer a man!

/pounds against the shield in his rage/

/Strengthens the shield after each blow, maintaining it/

Four hundred years I have kept your kind from the forests of Lorien!  Away with you!

dovahkiinelysia:

“Ironically, dragons. I can speak their tongue and use a power called a Thu’um, a dragon shout. A dragonborn can permanently kill a dragon by devouring its’ soul. Of course, I have taken the duty if defending the land from anything that threatens it.”

Hm.  /Purses her lips for a moment, then nods/  That seems a just cause.  I shall see whether you prove true to your word, or if you are as deceptive as the creature with which you share your soul.

shara—van:

“That must be true. I met another Eldar after you and he was really pretty too.”

Nods in agreement with the other and herself.

Which of my kin did you encounter?

dovahkiinelysia:

“I assure you, I do not find pleasure in those things. Despite my shady background, I do defend my realm for it is my duty to do so.”

What is the power you defend against?

shara—van:

Nods then blurts out.

“You’re very pretty.”

/Raises her brows slightly, then chuckles/

I thank you.  They say of the elves that we are fairest of all creatures.

theladyofthegaladhrim started following you

farynallister:

“Well then, I guess I’d have to start from the beginning.” Faryn grinned sarcastically. She took in a deep breath to gather her thoughts before explaining the Angels, and God, and the forces of Hell and their work in the mortal world. She told of the seemingly never ending battle between Heaven and Hell and how mortals tend to be caught in the crossfire.

/Tilts her head at the rather lengthy description, nodding/  It seems the battle between good and evil is present in all worlds.  I take it, as an Angel, that you ally yourself with the light.

dovahkiinelysia:

“I do not worship the shadows; I just work in them. I only serve Nocturnal as a Nightingale because of a deal, not by choice. I am a simple…saboteur.  I assume dragons are evil in your realm. Dragons in Tamriel were meant to conquer and rule. However, some turn away from their nature. They are very wise creatures. I might have the soul of a dragon, but I do not hold the traits of one.”

What are these traits of which you speak?  Malice?  Greed?  Cruelty?  Deception?  For this is what I have known of their kind as they are in Middle Earth and which I must guard against if they are also present in you.  Yet I fear that your word alone will not be enough.
